WA Parks Foundation

The WA Parks Foundation wanted Western Australians to heed the call of the great outdoors. They asked Likeable Creative to help. Tasked with creating blog content that would support the June ReBoot initiative, the team set out linking nature to wellbeing. Not content with just creating blog content, our strategy team wanted to increase social media following, newsletter signups, and brand awareness along the way.

ORIGINAL CONTENT

We crafted 4 long-form content pieces for the WA Parks Foundation website. The articles moved readers from awareness to action by focusing on educating, inspiring, and activating. Using competitive analysis, the team were able to find new topics and angles to cover. This increased audience interest and the chance that the WA Parks Foundation would rank in search.

SOCIAL MEDIA

Using a targeted social media strategy with paid ads and organic posts we served each article to a wide audience of interested readers. Our social media ads strategy focused on increasing page views, followers and newsletter sign up for our client.

the results

The social media campaign was seen by over 200,000 Perth residents and over 7,000 people read the collection of articles. This was a great result for a campaign with a modest budget. At the campaign end, WA Parks newsletter subscribers increased by 52.5% and social media followers increased by 25.5%, expanding their reach and brand awareness for future campaigns.
